Their discerning taste palates chose David Wandling’s prize‑winning chili based on spice and seasoning, declaring it the best chili despite a very competitive field of chili entries! After taking a couple of days to reflect, we wanted to take a few minutes and say thank you to everyone who helped, sponsored or participated in our 7th Annual Trunk or Treat. Every year seems to be better than the last, and there is truly no way all of it could be accomplished without the effort and energy our community puts forth. We can’t wait till next year to try and up the ante. With that being said, we hope you had a spooktacular Halloween and thank you for everything you do.
We wanted to take a moment and give two very special separate shoutouts to Little Glass Slipper Company (Kristina Smith and team) and to Crazy Horse Fireworks (Kenny Detamore) for the extra entertainment. For those of you aren’t aware, we had a long time team member who enjoyed donating bicycles to the Mid Ohio Valley Toys for Tots. His name was Dan Talbott. Every year, he’d donate a couple of bikes, and he thoroughly enjoyed spreading Christmas cheer.
Sadly, Dan passed away a few years ago. He was a great employee for many years. As a way to honor him, Dealer Principal Ginny Bowden and General Manager Wyn Bowden donated several bikes to Toys for Tots to keep Dan’s tradition going.
We miss Dan, and it brings us great joy to keep this tradition going.
We prepped for the 5th Annual Trunk-or-Treat/First Responder Appreciation Day. Dealer Principal Ginny Bowden delivered cookies to the Parkersburg Police Department and invited the officers to attend our annual event.
